San Jose, California - April 11, 2007 - Fibrenetix, a leading storage solutions provider for the data-intensive and high-performance digital media markets, is back at this year’s National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show from April 16-19, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada.

At NAB 2006, Fibrenetix launched their award winning Qubex product range, which has taken the digital media market by storm. At this year’s show Fibrenetix will showcase three new products, all of which offer unique design and features.

At the high-end Fibrenetix introduce two additions to the E-Series product family. The E2-1652, a 16- bay, 4 Gbit Fibre to SATA-II RAID system, offers more than 600MB/s sustained transfer rates and supports multiple uncompressed HD video streaming and 2K applications – all in a compact 3U, 19" rackmount form factor.

Fibrenetix new E2-1252 product will also launch at the show. The E2-1252, 2U 19" rackmount system is the most compact form factor on the market. Using 12x 750GB HDDs, the E2-1252 provides a total storage capacity of up to 9 Terabytes (9000GB). Utilising the same RAID controller as E2-1652 this product offers more performance than any other system in its class.

Several E2 series products can be combined, to provide astonishing performance of over 1.5 Gigabytes per sec sustained – beating any RAID system in the industry.

NAB will also see the debut of Fibrenetix cost effective and compact 4-bay QUADEX products aimed at the Personal Storage market sector (desktop storage). Offering up to 3 Terabytes of Storage in a very compact and stylish form factor, Quadex is predicted to be a star of the show. Utilising external power supplies, whisper quiet fans and 4x hot-swap SATA HDD’s, this product will soon be a must have for any Video Editing workstation.

Quadex offers a ‘combo’ host interface with Firewire 800, USB 2.0 and E-SATA I, alternatively users can go for the Quadex plus model, with E-SATA II host connection providing almost double the performance speed.
